From Feline Health to SaaS Solutions: Why I’m Building JazzySend Alongside PurrTrack

If you have been following my journey, you know I have been deep in the trenches of Flutter development and Firebase databases, bringing the PurrTrack feline health app to life. But as any solo founder knows, building the app is only half the battle. The other half? Getting it into the hands of users.
When it came time to set up email marketing for PurrTrack, I hit a massive roadblock. I started using SquareSpace’s built-in email campaign tools, expecting a seamless experience. Instead, I found it clunky, overly complicated, and ultimately ineffective. For a solo entrepreneur, time is the most valuable asset. I shouldn’t be spending hours wrestling with a convoluted interface just to send a simple newsletter.
I knew I wasn't alone. Having established contacts in real estate, event planning, and small business ownership over the years through Jazzy Management LLC and other entities, I’ve heard the same complaints repeatedly: email campaign services are too difficult to set up, they charge exorbitant fees, and they completely miss the mark for small business owners who just need to focus on running their business, not managing tedious tech setups.
The "Aha" Moment: If It Doesn't Exist, Build It! Out of pure necessity, I took matters into my own hands. I initially built a temporary, lightweight pipeline using a Make.com automation, a Google Sheet, and a custom Google Apps Script. It was fast, simple, and it actually worked.
But looking at that simple script, I realized something bigger. If I needed a streamlined, no-nonsense email campaign tool, so did my network. And that is how JazzySend was born.
What is JazzySend? JazzySend is evolving into a dedicated SaaS (Software as a Service) web app designed specifically for business owners who want the power of automated email campaigns without the bloat.
Whether you are a real estate agent sending out new listings, an event planner coordinating with vendors, or eventually, a larger enterprise looking to cut down on exorbitant marketing staff overhead, JazzySend is built on a "keep it simple" philosophy.
