The Multi-Cat Mental Load: Why I Traded Spreadsheets for Software

If you have one cat, keeping track of their health is a chore. If you manage a multi-cat household, it is a full-time logistical puzzle.

In a house with nine cats, the daily routine is a beautiful kind of chaos. Between making sure the kittens are growing, ensuring Ballito maintains his muscle mass, and giving Trixie her specific holistic kidney support and B12 drops, the mental load is staggering. For a long time, I tried to manage it all the old-fashioned way: keeping mental notes, jotting things down on paper, or trying to force generic vet advice to fit nine completely unique metabolisms.

It didn't work.

When you have a caboodle of cats, you quickly realize that generic advice is actually dangerous. What keeps one cat thriving might cause another to rapidly lose weight. True feline wellness requires precision, and precision requires data. I needed a way to track who was eating what, which holistic remedies were actually working, and how their weight was trending over time.

I looked everywhere for a tool that could handle the complexity of a multi-cat household without being a clunky, overly complicated spreadsheet. When I couldn't find one, I decided to build it myself.

That frustration was the catalyst for PurrTrack.

I designed PurrTrack specifically to lift the mental load off of independent cat owners. By integrating features like the CABOODLE to manage multiple profiles seamlessly, and the PurrFolio to keep all your holistic remedies and records in one place, the app transforms chaos into clarity.

We shouldn't have to guess when it comes to the health of our pets. By tracking their true baselines, we can advocate for them with confidence, data, and precision.

Track the Progress: Monitoring a multi-cat household requires precision. Use the PurrTrack app to log these remedies in your PurrFolio, track weight changes to the gram, and see exactly how your cats are responding to their holistic care.
